Stef Rumeser
Stef Rumeser graduated from the Academy for Physical Therapy in Utrecht (The Netherlands) in 1980. After graduation he worked part-time in a private clinic in Zeist and part-time in the institution "De Sterrenberg" for physically and mentally disabled persons.In 1984 he got an job offer on the island of Curacao where he worked in the General Hospital "St. Elisabeth" and at a clinic specializing in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation. Over the years he attended to many post graduation courses in Sports Rehabilitation because of his particular interest in Sports. In 1986 he moved to another Dutch Antillean island, Sint Maarten, where he started working in a private clinic.In 1988 he decided to start his own Physical Therapy clinic and he became the founder of The St. Maarten Health Care Clinic, a clinic for Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation. He works mainly inside the clinic attending to patients with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. Furthermore he is serving the community of Sint Maarten through volunteer work and is a member of the Sint Maarten Rotary Club.
 
Debbie Feijen
Debbie Feijen graduated in 1999 from Hogeschool Eindhoven with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. She completed her study for Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in Delft/ Utrecht in the Netherlands in 2003. Because of her particular interest in Sports Therapy she attended to the International Academy for Sport Science in Gennep (The Netherlands) in 2005 and specialized in active rehabilitation of the spine. Furthermore in 2005 she followed the Bobath (SCI-art) basic course in Pforzheim (Germany), which consists of constraint induced movement therapy for neurological patients. Between 1999-2006 she worked as a Physical Therapist/ Orthopaedic Manual Therapist at a private clinic in Mönchengladbach (Germany). She has been working at St. Maarten Health Care Clinic since 2006 where she also occupies the position as Operational Manager. She works mainly in the clinic and St. Maarten Medical Center (hospital). In 2007 she developed an interest in foot and gait analysis. With additional education she decided to create the possibility of making orthotics (insoles) in cooperation with Footmaxx.
 
Mike Kross
Mike Kross graduated from the Academy for Physical Therapy in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) in 2000. After his graduation he worked in different private clinics in the Netherlands. In 2007 he decided to return to Surinam to work in the general hospital in Paramaribo. Besides that he was the physical therapist of the national volleyball team in Surinam and assisted them during tournaments on several occasions. Mike has been working at the Sint Maarten Health Care Clinic since the beginning of 2011. He mainly attends to patients with sports injuries, works in the Sint Maarten Medical Center (hospital) and is giving therapy to people at home.
 
Monique van Zutphen
Monique van Zutphen graduated from Hogeschool Eindhoven (the Netherlands) in Physical Therapy in May 2010. In the last year of her study she went to Cape Town (South Africa) to do an internship in a rehabilitation center. Next to her study she worked in a nursing home in the psycho-geriatric department, giving group training to elderly people with therapeutic purposes. After graduation she started working full time in a private clinic and physical therapy training center in Eindhoven. In July 2011 she started working at the St. Maarten Health Care Clinic. Monique is working at St. Maarten's Home (nursing home) where she is incoporating with the development of the rehabilitation department. She also treats patients at home and in the clinic.
 
Peter Prinsen
Peter Prinsen graduated in 2001 from Hogeschool Amsterdam (the Netherlands) with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy. In the last year of his study he went to Livingstone (Zambia) to do an internship in a rehabilitation center. He completed his study for Manual Therapy (SOMT) in Amersfoort (the Netherlands) in 2007. In 2008 he started as a teacher at the International School for Physical Therapy Thim van der Laan. He participated in several courses for shoulder and knee problems. In the Netherlands he worked for 10 years at a private clinic in Hilversum. In September 2011 he started working at Sint Maarten Health Care Clinic. He mainly attends to patients with musculo-skeletal disorders (back/ neck complaints etc.) and works in the Sint Maarten Medical Center (hospital).
 
Lesley Bizot
Lesley Bizot has worked at St. Maarten Health Care Clinic for the past 20 years as a secretary. This includes making the appointments, dealing with the insurance companies and assisting the patients.
