Rhea Maccow
Physiotherapist
Rhea graduated in 2019 and received her Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (The Netherlands). She is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. She has experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, including shoulder injuries, back pain, and rehabilitation following total hip and knee replacements.
Rhea's goal as a physiotherapist is to help patients achieve their goals by understanding what motivates them and developing individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of mobility, balance, coordination, and posture. She has found that many patients struggle to describe their symptoms, understand their body's response to exercise, or fully relax. This highlights the importance of patient education and maintaining a balanced exercise routine that includes strength training, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness.
After gaining professional experience in the Netherlands, Rhea returned to her home island of Sint Maarten, where she is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's individual needs.
